Japanese Medical University International Collaborative Assembly (J-MICA) is an organization formed by medical schools across Japan to promote international exchange and enhance medical education. Its main aim is to foster collaboration between Japanese medical institutions and their counterparts abroad, supporting students, researchers, and faculty members in participating in global activities.

Key activities of J-MICA include:

  1. **Promotion of International Exchange**: J-MICA supports study abroad programs, international internships, and collaborative research projects for both students and faculty, aiming to develop globally-minded healthcare professionals.
  2. **International Collaborative Research**: J-MICA facilitates partnerships with overseas universities and research institutions to promote cutting-edge medical research and the exchange of knowledge in advanced medical technologies.
  3. **Information Sharing and Collaboration**: By sharing the latest developments in international medical education, J-MICA enhances the quality of medical education in Japan. It encourages the exchange of best practices among its member institutions.
  4. **Conferences and Seminars**: J-MICA organizes international conferences, seminars, and workshops on medical education and global healthcare issues, providing platforms for knowledge exchange and professional development.

Through these activities, J-MICA aims to elevate Japan’s medical education to international standards and cultivate healthcare professionals who can contribute to global medical practice and research.
